Free eBooks
with Donation to Charity

DLSIJ Press and its author believe that it is important to give back, to give of ourselves in a way that betters the world, even in a small way. As publishers and writers, we do this through ebooks that are offered in exchange for direct donations to non-profit programs.

Supporting Breast Cancer Research

As a women's press, we cannot ignore the issues that directly affects the lives of women. Breast cancer is one such issue, for which we have tried to encourage donations and raise awareness. Shards, an ebook anthology of short stories, is free to download after making at least a $5 donation to a non-profit organization involved in finding a cure for breast cancer and/or helping those affilicted. Clicking on the cover image will take you to Shards' page, where you can learn about the authors who donated their work to this cause. You will also find information about The Breast Cancer Fund.

Supporting Children's Literacy

Clerestory, a windowed wall is also an anthology of short stories. It is free to download after making at least a $5 donation to a non-profit organization that promotes Children's Literacy. Click on the cover image and you will be taken to Clerestory's page, where you can learn about its authors and find your way to the sites of Reading is Fundamental in the US and the National Literacy Trust in the UK.

Supporting Humanitarian Relief Efforts

Unfortunately, our world has been seeing a great number of disasters recently, both man-made and natural. WomanScapes and its author are hoping to help these affected people. A $5 or larger donation will help make a difference, and as if the good feeling you'll get from that weren't enough, you'll get a free short story anthology.

WomanScapes will also be available in paperback. Profits from the sale will be donated to a variety of non-profit organizations.

Click on WomanScapes' cover to view further information and to access a partial listing of humanitarian relief organizations.
