If you're visiting our web site, chances are you're a booklover. As such, you have an intimate knowledge of the incredible power of books. You understand that fiction is like a window, offering you a glimpse into another world. You understand the drive to turn pages, the satisfactionand the disappointmentwhen that last page turns. As a booklover, you understand.
Do you have fond childhood memories of books? Do you remember someone reading to you? Do you remember the stuffiness under that blanket with a book and a flashlight, trying to sneak just a few more pages? If your childhood was painful, do you remember the solace and the joy that books provided? If your childhood was happy, do you remember the solace and the joy that books provided? Perhaps, as a booklover, you even remember some of your favorite books.
Reading is Fundamental in the US and the National Literacy Trust in the UK are both non-profit organizations that promote children's literacy. They go to great lengths to ensure that every child learns about the incredible power of books. Their endeavors will ulltimately create a new generation of booklovers, like you.
While we do not publish children's literature, we decided to find another way to support their noble efforts. To this end, we are releasing Clerestory, a windowed wall, an adult ebook anthology of short stories, to which twelve authors have donated their work. Each author offers a window, a glimpse into another world. You will find Sci-Fi, Romance, Fantasy, Slice of Lifesomething for everyone.
Clerestory, a windowed wall is free to download if you make a donation to any non-profit organization that promotes children's literacy. Such a deal, huh? You can satisfy your craving for yet another book, and you can help build a new generation of booklovers!
The RIF and NLT logo images to your left will take you directly to each organization's secure donation page. We ask that you donate at least $5.00 to one of these respected organizations. We do not require verification of your donation; trust builds just like your donation will.
Once you have made a donation, simply click the link below to initiate a download.
