Established in 1998, DLSIJ Press is committed to being a women's press in the truest sense: We publish all women, regardless of political leanings, belief system, genre, sexual orientation, etc. Women's participation in society has been marginalized and segmented enough. We will not further that. We publish all women. We are a small press and make no apologies for it. We seek quality work from authors who are committed to success in all their endeavors. We are driven by this far more than by the need for constant new releases. This means you will not see us grow by leaps and bounds, but you will see our current authors grow and you will see the careful addition of new authors and their work. We are author-centric, believing that publishing must be a team activity—with author and publisher being equal. We also believe that this team concept extends to all of our authors, and we encourage and provide opportunites for them to work together on projects, brainstorming, etc. Each is uniquely creative and resourceful, and together, they are even more amazing. |
Our SitesDLSIJ Press (this site) handles the publishing side of our business. It caters to authors looking to publish with us. It also contains a community site for our current authors. DP Bookstore facilitates all of our sales. The Lit Chicks is a community of readers and writers that we host. It is run by various DP authors. The Clique, Women's Banner Exchange has been operated by DLSIJ Press since 1999. |
